♡ Will I smell like beef?
• No. Tallow has a faint nautral smell as does any nautral product. This dissipates quickly after applying. I have unscented as well as lightly scented (with organic essential oils)
♡ What are the ingredients?
• 100% Grass fed, organic beef tallow
Olive oil or Jojoba oil or castor oil
Organic essential oils (in the lightly scented version)
♡ How long will a jar last?
• That depends on how often you use it and if you are only spot treating or using as a complete body lotion (like myself 😉) Regardless, a little goes a long way!
♡ What is the expiration date of tallow?
• I typically recommend using it within 6 months, but as long as not contaminated it can last a year! There are no stabilizers or preservatives in it, therfore is important to not let water get in it and keep it on the cool side.
♡ What happens if my tallow "melts"?
•Tallow melts at 85 degrees. It is best to store it in a cool, dark place. If it does melt, the oils may separate. Simply mix them together gently and use as before. You can also pop it in the fridge to make it firm. Melting does not change the effectiveness of the product.
♡ Can I use it on my entire family?
• Yes! The unscented makes a great diaper balm or lotion for sensitive skin kiddos 😉
